Rocky Mount, Va. (October 4, 2023) – The Franklin County YMCA is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mark Angel as its new Fitness Director. With a wealth of experience and a passion for promoting health and wellness in our community, Angel is poised to lead the YMCA’s fitness programs to new heights.

Angel brings a strong background in fitness and wellness, having worked in the industry for 40 years. As a certified strength and conditioning specialist through NSCA, he is committed to sharing his knowledge and fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where people of all ages and fitness levels can thrive.

Mark will be responsible for overseeing the YMCA’s fitness facilities and developing and implementing a comprehensive fitness program that aligns with the YMCA’s values and goals. He will work closely with the YMCA staff, members, and volunteers to create a vibrant fitness community.
